WALT:Writing a reflection about Wonder

Hello everyone room 9 my class and room 10 ( kiamanuanui ) went to the movies and we had a lot of fun.

What you enjoyed about this trip

Kensington - What I enjoyed at the movie was the fact that we got to take our own food with us in one bag, and I really liked it that we got to choose our own group's to go with.

Alone - What I enjoyed at the movie because at  was sad because everyone was mock him he’s face I was going to cry. And I like the end because everyone like him I was so happy.  

Your favourite part in the movie

Kensington - My favourite part in the movie was when Via said her speech inside the play it’s very great that Miranda gave her the part

Alone- My favourite part in the movie was the end because everyone like him.

What are the key things you could learn from this movie

kensington - I think the key things you can learn in this movie are that it doesn’t matter if you look good on the outside but you have to be beautiful on inside and the outside

Alone-I think the key things you can learn in this movie at is very sad because everyone was going to cry

Today room 10 and room 9 has been doing careers with miss we are learning about maori today we have to draw a symbol about what represent you and your culture then we have to share it with our peers we have to present but some people were shy because they didn't want to share because they are so shy today I represent my life and my culture the first person present was kensington and then the second one was Me.

What I enjoyed about doing this was drawing some symbols and signs.

What I found challenging was trying to present in front of room 9 and 10 and I was drawing since I find it difficult to draw.

Today for writing we wrote down reason's to what being a good friends means to me.The topic that we have written down is about good friends and I was excited about talking about friends because how I had good friends who do anything to be by my side.I really enjoyed doing this writing because how I got to talk about what friends means to me.What I find challenging was making three reasons because how I got to think a lot.My next steps will be communicating more with my friends and doing positive things.

Halloween!

Here today I am going to reflect about my halloween experience with my cousin at mission bay.It was fun and cool because how we got to go visit some places at mission bay and went back home at 1:00 pm.We left so late because how we had so much FUN so we did not leave until it went to that time.I really enjoyed halloween yesterday because how me and my cousin got $40 each to spend on.Here is a google drawing reflecting about my day yesterday at halloween.Feel free to take a look but don't forget to COMMENT below!

IALT : tell you that i finish my explanation writing!

EXPLANATION TEMPLATE

Remember the S.E.E.E structure

S	Statement - Use a starter sentence to state a cause - To be a good scientist you need to be . . .
E	Explain - Define the cause - this means . . .
E	Example - connect to the reader - for example...
E	Effect - explain the effect of the cause - if you do that then . . .

Title This will start with HOW... or WHY...	Why do people travel?
Introduction What are you going to explain?  How will you hook the reader in?	Today I  am going is explain why people travel. Have you travelled before?  Have  you been on a plane? What is the most interesting place you’ve gone to? So this is my topic for today.
Paragraph One What is your first statement or main point? (S.E.E.E)	People travel because They want too see other cities towns or countries They want to experience other people's culture’. When I went to Rarotonga I visited my family first time in 7 years.
Paragraph Two What is your second statement or main point? (S.E.E.E)	People also travel to see/visit Their family. Some family live far away like in australia or cook island. So they have to travel. Seeing your family makes you feel happy.
Paragraph Three What is your third statement or main point? (S.E.E.E)	There are many  different  ways to travel on a plane .You can Fly catch a bus or a train you can even ride your bike a long  way to see a friend. The travelling part of the journey is exciting! Lifting off on a plane can be scary. I was scared when I lifted off to go to Rarotonga!.
Conclusion The conclusion sums up all the ideas and repeats a key message to end.  This could be a recommendation or a personal connection.	I think I have explained why people travel . They travel to see other countries . They  travel to visit family . They travel just to see what it's to be like on a train or a plane. Travelling is a positive thing it can make you think the word is a huge plane and there are lot of different places to see and explore.
